It’s hard to believe it is finally happening! Renovations have begun inside our Ronald McDonald Family Room at CHOC at Mission . We are fortunate to have the leadership of McCarthy Building Company donating their time as Project Managers. McCarthy has recruited an impressive group of subcontractors who are all donating their labor and supplies to the project. We are having beautiful cabinetry work done.  It is totally being donated by ISEC.  Today ISEC installers are putting in the bookcases and architectural woodwork.

On Sunday, August 10, 2008, three children from the Orange County Ronald McDonald House were treated to an experience of a lifetime.  The Angels Baseball Team made three OCRMH children “celebrities” during the Los Angeles Angels game against the New York Yankees. 

Congratulations to Orange County Ronald McDonald House Board of Trustee member, Mike Harrison, for being selected as the “2008 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser for Orange County.” Mike was selected for this prestigious honor because of his volunteer and leadership benefiting the Orange County Council Boy Scouts of America, CHOC Padrinos, Harbor Day School , Orange County Ronald McDonald House, Corona del Mar High School Cross Country Team, and Orange County Performing Arts Center.
