Anthony Perez's Story
Anthony's Story:

When Anthony was born March 24, 2005, he came into the world 3 months premature, weighing a little over a pound. During his first fragile week of life, Anthony had surgery to repair a hole in his heart. As if that wasn’t enough, doctors also had to stop the bleeding on his brain, repair a collapsed lung, and perform laser surgery on both of Anthony’s eyes to save his vision.

The hospital would become Anthony’s home for the first four months of his life.
The Orange County Ronald McDonald House would become his mom Christine’s “home away from home”.

“We live in Riverside County” says Christine. “Staying at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House meant that I could be close to Anthony without having to drive four hours every day. Words can’t describe how grateful I am for the comfort this House provided for my family.”

Today Anthony is doing great!
