19th Annual High Tea & Fashion Show
Nearly 400 people attended the 19th Annual High Tea & Fashion Show at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort on Friday, October 24th. The event raised nearly $140,000 for the Orange County Ronald McDonald House.
Attendees enjoyed a high energy fashion show produced by Michael Nusskern Boutiques of Newport Beach. A big thank you to event co-chairs Isabelle Villasenor & Socorro Vasquez for their leadership and dedication, as well as the event committee.
This year’s Diamond Sponsors were Fritz Duda Company, Eleanor & Herbert Kraft Family Foundation, McLarand Vasques Emsiek & Partners, Socorro & Ernesto Vasquez Family and Isabelle Villasenor Family. Our Emerald Sponsors were Frisbie Management, Gene and Patti Widdicombe, and Rancho Mission Viejo Company.
Volunteer Appreciation Party
More than 75 volunteers were honored at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Party held on Wednesday, September 10th. This year we were honoring not only the dedicated individuals and groups who volunteer their time to our Ronald McDonald House, but those who are actively volunteering inside our Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. We could not run our programs without your love and support!
UPDATE: Ronald McDonald Family Room Renovation
The renovation of our Ronald McDonald Family Room inside of CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital is progressing nicely.
To date we have received more than $100,000 worth of in-kind support for this project. This includes the carpet from Shaw Contract, drywall and framing by Performance Contracting Incorporated, plumbing from Pan Pacific Plumbing.
