A Laguna Niguel family helped by the Ronald McDonald Family Room inside of CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital was recently featured in the Orange County Register.  The article written by Lindsey Baguis, describes how the Ohmer family used the Ronald McDonald Family Room for more than 50 days while their daughter was undergoing treatment for complications in her gastrointestinal tract.  The family brought their daughter to the hospital on November 29th after her stomach ruptured.  They spent Christmas and New Year's Day there - as their daughter Makenzie, 16, recovered from emergency surgery.  The article describes the recent $250,000 renovation of the first Ronald McDonald Family Room to open in California.  To read the entire article, please click here.
