Volunteers Make Valentine's Day Special
On Valentine's Day, families staying at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House were treated to complimentary haircuts, manicures, and pedicures courtesy of Paul Mitchell The School. The cosmetology school, located in Costa Mesa brought students to the Ronald McDonald House to give parents and their children a make-over for the holiday.
In addition, our partners from Stampin' Up! donated handcrafted chocolate treats for families at the Ronald McDonald House and our two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. Stampin' Up! has an exclusive line of decorative rubber stamp sets and accessories. The company is a national partner of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Local demonstrators regularly create cards for families to use. For Valentine's Day, they created specially designed sweets. A big thank you to Karen Moody for helping organize the Stampin' Up! donation.
