Local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops will now be able to earn an activity patch for helping families staying at the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. Scouts can chose from a variety of projects to earn their activity patch.     

Unlike a merit badge, an activity patch is not required to advance in the Scouts. Instead, they are awarded for various recreational and educational activities, such as conservation or volunteering.
