The Orange County Ronald McDonald House’s 20^th Annual High Tea & Fashion Show was a smashing success raising over $127,000, and welcoming 440 guests to the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach on October 23, 2009.

This year’s High Tea, chaired by Isabelle Villasenor of Dejon Enterprises – McDonald’s, included a stunning fashion show with fashions by Mi Place boutique of Newport Beach and Laguna Niguel. Bringing his wit and candor to the event was Fox Sports Net’s Bill Macdonald who emceed a program that included kudos to Diamond Sponsors; Fritz Duda Company and Isabelle Villasenor Family, and Emerald Sponsors; Amcor Sunclipse, Dr. John & Paula German, Newport Beach Bayview Marriott, Socorro Vasquez, and Widdicombe Enterprises.

A highlight of this year’s 20^th anniversary event was the first presentation of the Person of Honor award given to Dr. John German for his dedication to the Orange County Ronald McDonald House. Dr. German has served on the OCRMH Board of Trustees since 2000, and he and his wife, Paula, have generously donated their time and resources to the House and its families.
